LeBron James is undeniably one of the biggest superstars walking the planet, even outside of the sports realm.
But the estimated value of one tweet from the Cleveland Cavaliers icon will blow your mind to smithereens and make your social media presence feel very inadequate.
ESPN report that Opendorse value James’ sponsored tweets at $140,000, or $1,000 a character, which means that this bad boy would have set you back $13,000 if, for some bizarre reason, you wanted him to post about horse racing.
And we’re off

“We’re basically saying that the value of one LeBron tweet is worth $140,000,” said Opendorse CEO Blake Lawrence. “And with that, you will reach 23 million people. It would cost you five times more to reach that many people with a TV ad.”
Four NBA players make the company’s top five with Floyd Mayweather the only other athlete to feature on the list which includes Kevin Durant ($66,553), Kobe Bryant ($42,389), Floyd Mayweather ($34,924) and Dwight Howard ($34,290).
Stupid internet, making rich people more money.
