Surprise! Kemba Walker produces block of the year from absolutely nowhere

He's behind you

Conan Doherty

This is what the term “boom” was invented for.

Kemba Walker ignored his height and his court position to unleash this crushing block on poor Jose Calderon who didn’t even know what the hell happened.

New York Knicks player, Calderon, strolled forward on a break tonight and, with all the time and space he had – at least what he thought he had – he decided to pull up short and float in a three-pointer under no pressure.

Think again.

Kemba Walker comes steaming out of nowhere and shuts a stunned Calderon down with the most emphatic of blocks.

Turns out it was quite important too as the Charlotte Hornets went on to win by a single point.

It was a decent night all-round for Walker as he then went on to score this sensational buzzer-beater as the Hornets came from behind to snatch a last-grasp winner and the roof was near ripped off its hinges with the roar.
