OK good, now prepare to leap to your feet in “no f***ing way” joy when we tell you that a sequel to the greatest film ever made (that stars Bill Murray and Michael Jordan) could be coming your way.
Rumours are that the 21st century’s answer to Jordan, LeBron James, is set to take the lead role opposite the supremely talented Bugs Bunny.
It was announced today that James and his company SpringHill Entertainment had joined forces with Warner Bros. Entertainment in a deal that will aim to produce content across digital, television and film. That’s right, film!
And media reporter Alex Weprin revealed that Warner Bros had filed for a trademark renewal on the Space Jam franchise which doesn’t mean a whole lot because they already own the film trademark but the fact that it coincides with their deal with LeBron could mean that new merchandise is on their minds.
