We wonder which ‘press conference’ is closer to the truth.
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick took to a media podium yesterday to give a passionate denial that his team were guilty of any wrongdoing surrounding the deflation of the balls used in the AFC championship win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Belichick claimed he spent an ’embarrassing’ amount of time learning about the science of air pressure in footballs, and his long-winded and detailed explanation effectively dared the NFL to find proof the Patriots cheated.
A few hours later, ‘Belichick’ was again in front of a camera, only this time as part of a hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch lampooning the scandal.
The sketch also features quarterback Tom Brady pleading his innocence, and the obligatory A Few Good Men finale that’s well worth the wait.
