PIC: Ice-hockey player shows off what being hit by a puck does to your face

Might need more than a plaster to fix that

Ryan Olsen we salute you

We always wondered how it would feel to be hit in the face by something very hard. Really we did. And well now we know thanks to this frightening tweet from an ice hockey player.

Ryan Olsen was playing for the Winnipeg Jets last night when he got into a scrap in the first half of the game.

That’s pretty much a normal night’s work on the ice for any player, but his night went from bad to worse after the break. He somehow managed to get the puck into the face and he tweeted the world to show the damage the piece of very very hard plastic did to his once angelic features.

That’s either a grin or his face is so badly swollen it looks like a half-smile.
