How much for the set
Tom Brady’s appeal against his Deflategate punishment is coming up on June 23rd, so we figure it must be pure coincidence that one of the balls that got him into this whole mess is for sale online.
The ball in question is apparently one of the two from the AFC game that caused huge controversy but is the first to go on sale..
Auction house Lelands.com is handling the bidding and the opening offer will be a cool, or not so cool, $25,000, with bidding coming to a halt on July 17th .
We love the opening line ‘the ball that will live in infamy’
The owners of the piece of sporting infamy is Laura Nichols, who was handed the ball after the touchdown by LeGarrette Blount by his teammate Brandon LaFell.
The controversy around the balls has seen Brady hit with a four game ban as well as $1million dollar fine which he’s set to appeal next week.
