Galway minors reached the All-Ireland final, at Croke Park, but their nine-point victory was marred by an ugly brawl in added time.

Galway burst out of the starting blocks and were 0-10 to 0-3 up at the break. Wexford spurned a couple of goal-scoring chances but Galway pulled well clear with some crisp shooting from distance.
McDonagh scored 0-12 with three points coming from play and he was a complete handful for the Wexford defence.

There were six minutes of injury time but, after 64 minutes, an almighty scrap behind the Galway goal after Wexford missed a late chance.
In the middle of it all, Galway's Shane Morgan was left prone by the hoarding boards. As the dust settled and after the referee conferred with umpires and his officials, red cards were flashed at the Wexford pair of Kyle Scallan and Cian Molloy.

Play finally resumed on 77:50 with the final whistle sounded across the ground soon after.
Following the game, McDonagh spoke with TG4 after his team's win and the late brawl.
"We got our match-ups right and our backs were fantastic today.
"I didn't see the red card [incident] but I'd say it was a red if the ref said it was."
Galway will be hoping Morgan will recover in time for the final as he was just one of a number of their players that were fantastic on the day.
