WATCH: Aaron Ramsey absolutely smashed a world record on this week’s A League of Their Own

Aaron Ramsey's A League of their Own appearance was a memorable one, then.

The Arsenal midfielder certainly looked to enjoy his time alongside Jamie Redknapp, Freddie Flintoff and Co. as he stole the limelight on the sporting trivia gameshow hosted by James Corden. Not only did Ramsey make a point of endearing himself to Gunners fans all over the world by taking a pop at arch-rivals Spurs at the first opportunity. But he also earned himself a place in the Guinness Book of World Records by absolutely demolishing the previous record of 15 keepy-uppies of a golf ball in 30 seconds. The Welshman only registered a ludicrous 61 in the same timeframe which means it will genuinely take some beating.

Ramsey was also asked who his footballing idol was and gave the most unexpected of unexpected answers with a former Ireland international being singled out for praise.

"I was born just outside Cardiff so I obviously supported them. They had a player called Graham Kavanagh who was the captain and a central midfielder so he was the player that I looked up to and wanted to be like."
