Liverpool fans have seen a few fine efforts from Coutinho since he came to Anfield. However, until Sunday, the diminutive midfielder had yet to get off the mark for his country.
In his seventh game for the senior team, Coutinho opened his international account with a wondrous solo effort from an acute angle to give Brazil the lead against Mexico in their international friendly in Sao Paulo.
Given his current form, it is unlikely to be the last superb goal he'll bag wearing that yellow jersey.
