Celta defender Sergi Gomez was seen clearly punching the perpetual biter in the back in an incident off the ball late in the second half.
The referee failed to spot any wrong-doing and the 23-year-old Spaniard got off completely unpunished.
According to 101 Great Goals, when asked about the incident after the match the Spaniard said, "Hitting Suarez in the back? Those thing can happen, but I certainly
didn’t want to hurt him.”
