The Donegal man found himself unable to single out one player when asked who he considered the best footballer he's played with but he mentions Leighton Baines, Stephen Pienaar and Damien Duff as being big influences on his game.
He spoke about his passion for Gaelic football when asked about what he'd be doing if he had never gotten his breakthrough as a professional footballer.
He said: "Thankfully I am a footballer, it's obviously the best job in the world in my opinion.
"If I hadn't have been a professional footballer ... I played another sport back home which was Gaelic football.
"It obviously wouldn't be a job as such but a hobby but it's hopefully something I can play again sometime.
"As a job, I'm not too sure because I always wanted to play football."
