Spanish newspaper predicts that this could be Pep Guardiola’s starting XI at Manchester City

There are so many questions that surround Pep Guardiola's inevitable move to the Premier League in the summer. Manchester City are 2/9 favourites to acquire the services of the most sought-after manager in world football and many wonder what his reputation could do for City's chances of even more superstar signings. Many believe that the former Barcelona manager would be able to tempt Lionel Messi away from the Camp Nou as it was the Spaniard who got the best out of Messi during their time together. Spanish outlet Sport have put together a potential starting XI that Guardiola would have to work with if he does decide to make the move to the Etihad at the end of the season. With the money at Khaldoon Al Mubarak's disposal, it wouldn't surprise us if Guardiola was given a hefty war-chest to cement City as the best side in England and Sport can see five big names coming through the door this summer. The newspaper foresees tough times for club captain Vincent Kompany who they imagine would be ousted by the signings of John Stones and Gerard Pique. David Alaba is the only Bayern Munich player who is predicted to join Guardiola in the Premier League while Juventus' Paul Pogba could join up with Yaya Toure in the centre of the park. The biggest name of all though is Lionel Messi who Sport believes could be keen to reunite with his former manager. This XI would be absolutely unbeatable.
