Could this be another internet hoax or is it the real deal Holyfield?
A photo has been doing the rounds online of a Liverpool jersey that some have been claiming might be the Reds' new home jersey for the 2015/16 season.
The shirt is, unsurprisingly, classic red but with a twist. It features an odd-looking checkered pattern around the pectoral area that transforms into stripes just below the chest. The front of the jersey bears a white crest and sponsors, which differs from the gold-coloured ones featured on this season's kit. Finally, the other big change is the reintroduction of a longer collar, which also has a white trim.
We at SportsJOE don't know what to make of this kit. We'll reserve our judgment until it is either confirmed as the official jersey or denounced as a fake.
