The Arsenal playmaker enjoyed a fine night's work during Arsenal's exciting FA Cup quarter final win over Manchester United on Monday night. According to the Times, the much-maligned midfielder put in a man of the match performance at Old Trafford, but at the same time they feel he didn't deserve that accolade.
The paper awarded the German an eight out of 10, attributing his high score to the moments of genius he displayed and the assist he teed up for Alexis Sanchez in stoppage time. Despite being given the highest score out of every player that played in the game, the newspaper decided that Santi Cazorla was more deserving of the man of the match even though he was only given a seven for his efforts.
