Olivier Giroud admits being heavily inspired by a Manchester United icon

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud revealed that David Beckham has been a big influence on him, or at least the way he dresses.

In recent interview with GQ, the Frenchman explained how the former English international and an "elegant" Ukrainian Chelsea player had an impact on his style.

David Beckham is a top man. I love the guy and what he can show in terms of style as well. He’s really classy, an icon… When I was young, I looked up to Andriy Shevchenko. He was so elegant, and on the pitch as well.

Mesut Ozil also featured in the piece and, well, he's not going to win over any new fans with his contribution.

I bring my own grooming kit to the game... moisturiser, gel and shampoo – I like to take care of myself… Football players like to take care of themselves and pay attention to the way they dress.
