Noel Gallagher has chimed in on Jack Wilshere’s smoking and drinking

There are a lot of football pundits whose opinions on players that we value less than Noel Gallagher's.

The Oasis legend may not offer the most technical analysis of games but his punditry is always entertaining. And the latest player to feel his wrath is Jack Wilshere whose professionalism has been brought into question by Gallagher due to the Arsenal midfielder being pictured smoking and drinking in public on more than one occasion. "You think of the great midfielders in the game now, like Silva and the Barcelona players – they’re athletes," Gallagher told talkSPORT. "They don’t smoke and drink. "This lad has been caught twice. That’s what sets him apart and what links him to Gazza. "That catches up with you in the end. If you are smoking and drinking you are not an athlete. "The great players in the league dedicate themselves to be the best, and smoking and drinking isn’t going to cut it."
