Jurgen Klopp praises Liverpool despite wind which he calls “biggest enemy of football”

Jurgen Klopp is still getting accustomed the changeable weather in Liverpool.

At stages of the Reds' 1-0 victory over Swansea, there was no wind whatsoever but, at other times, it was like a full on storm had hit Anfield. A James Milner penalty was enough to secure all three points for the home team but Klopp had a right go at the conditions during his post-match press conference. “It was really crazy, it changed all the time, sometimes no wind, sometimes lots,” he said. “For both teams, it was really difficult. You can't take this game as saying this is how the game should be. “The wind is the biggest enemy of football but we did okay. “I'm not sure of the numbers but we had about 70% possession at one point, maybe the last 20 minutes was different. “We had a lot of the ball and there was the wind and we had to react. “But we were the deserved winner for sure and that's the only thing we should care about."
