We must work together to end violence against dug-outs once and for all.
After witnessed his side throw away a two-goal lead in the space of two minutes against FC Dordrecht at the weekend, NAC Breda coach Robert Maaskant went into what can only be described as a blind rage.
The Dutch manager worked himself up into such a fury that he lashed out on the first thing that looked at him the wrong way. In this case, it was the dug-out that set him off.
Maaskant unloaded a holy haymaker from hell on the inanimate object that was so forceful, it punched a hole clean through the dug-out. It was such a powerful punch that he actually drew blood.
Maybe he should have taken a bit of a Breda to try and compose himself before assaulting the dug-out... apologies
