From Goodison to Gelsenkirchen, it’s the Irish goals of the year

The last 12 months saw some absolute pearlers from Irish folk all over the globe

We enjoyed an awful lot of goals in 2014, and quite a few of our absolute favourites came via the boot of Irish players. So, without further ado, and in no particular order, here they are. John O'Shea v Germany Okay, we lied, this is definitely our favourite, chiefly because it made us scream like lunatics in the office when it hit the net. For drama it is hard to beat, but the flick by Hendrick is bloody sensational and the deft finish by O'Shea isn't too shabby either.
