Think technology solves everything? The fact that this Aussie try was awarded, despite this obvious forward pass, suggests otherwise.
Nick Phipps’s pass clearly goes forward on the way to Bernard Foley but after much deliberation they let it stand. Incredible.
UPDATE: Conor O’Shea in the RTE studio reckons it was backwards but we still find it hard to believe…
