Tolu Latu and Will Skelton were both cited by Super Rugby governing body SANZAR after an incident with second rower Sam Whitelock.
They are in hot water after this clear lifting tackle that only warranted a yellow card at the time for Latu.
On Monday, SANZAR banned Latu for four weeks, as he had 'the dominant role' in the incident, and Skelton for two.
Waratahs have released a statement expressing their disappointment with the decision and their intentions to appeal both bans.
