Keep an eye out for Jason Hill

Ireland’s national sides had a clean sweep of wins, over Italy, on the opening Six Nations weekend. Unfortunately, however, the club representative XV lost out to their Scottish counterparts. It took a spectacular try for the Scots to edge a pulsating encounter.

Heriots flanker Jason Hill picked up the ball in his own half and embarked on an up-field surge, side-stepping two Irishmen and outpacing the covering defence to dive over. The converted, last-minute score made it 23-18 to Scotland.

How the Scots could have done with some devastating loose forward play like this at the weekend as they lost 15-8 to France in Paris.
