Cappamore’s finest does his bit for charity
John Hayes is happy in his retirement, but the man who made us all tear up when he started to blub in Croke Park playing England also has a heart of gold.
The Limerick native and former Munster hero is seen this evening striking a penalty all in the name of charity.
The Cappamore man takes the spot kick as he trys (see what we did there) to raise awareness of a new campaign called #Penaltyfor Autism
And he calls out two of his former colleagues in the process

We’ll keep an eye out to see if the two lads in question do get around to the challenge but in the meantime if you want to donate all you have to do is take your penalty & nominate 2 people as well as texting Penalty to 50300.
See if you can do better than the Bomber
Please support this good cause. pic.twitter.com/7s7GJbHMbu
