Tim Nanai-Williams responds to dangerous tackle like we would want to
Thankfully the days when players could get away with cheap shots on the rugby field are becoming fewer and fewer but there is still incidents of utter stupidity.
Take for example an attempt by Ian Prior from the Western Force to upend Tim Nanai-Williams of Chiefs earlier today in their Super Rugby clash.
Prior was trying to fill a huge gap in the defense that Williams was about to exploit from a ruck, but the Chiefs man dropped the ball just moments before Prior engaged in the tackle, and lifted him up and drove him into the ground.
There seems to be some kind of apology but Nanai-Williams understandably was not happy with the dangerous attempt to take him out of the game and lashes out with his fist

Referee Angus Gardner had no choice and gave Prior a red card with the Chiefs winning the game  35-27.
