It started off as a tribute, but could end up getting very ugly.
We have been keeping tabs of Brian O’Driscoll’s social media musings ever since his old midfield partner Gordon D’Arcy announced he was retiring, after the World Cup.
Well, O’Driscoll is back on the scene, following his Champions Cup commentary duties, and sent out an early tribute to Darce.
Of course, it was never going to e a straight, glowing tribute:
What an unbelievable team mate & centre partner @Gordonwdarcy was for 15 years. Class is permanent as is the internet pic.twitter.com/2hOZas4nct

There was no way D’Arcy was not going to respond to that:
Thank you @BrianODriscoll we had a good run at it? that Internet thing is terrible.. pic.twitter.com/Yxo6gbjdWc — Gordon D’Arcy (@Gordonwdarcy) May 4, 2015
In the end. Dave Kearney settled all arguments with this Backstreet Boys blast from the past:
It certainly is boys@Gordonwdarcy @BrianODriscoll pic.twitter.com/22TQyGOyQT

This could run and run…
