Ireland scored 370 points in 2018 and with that many points on the board there’s a lot of tries to choose from.
Judging tries, goals, touchdowns, dunks is always a subjective practice. Fans are always going to have their personal favourites, and while some will judge a score purely on it’s aesthetic nature, others will consider factors like how many other players were involved or the significance of the try and the magnitude of the game in which it was scored.
There’s Jordan Larmour’s spectacular effort in a meaningless game against Italy, there’s CJ Stander’s try of the year candidate in the Grand Slam decider against England, there’s Jacob Stockdale’s chip and chase against New Zealand.
There was a lot of great scores this year and here we try to rank our top 10.
