A great week for the IRFU contracts team
Hot on the heels of Rob Kearney being signed up for three years another star Irish back has also been tied down for the foreseeable future.
This morning the IRFU announced that Tommy Bowe has signed a new three-year deal that will keep him at Ulster until June 2018.
That deal will take Bowe up to the age of 34 but as we saw on Saturday, the two-time Lions tourist is still playing superb rugby.
The man himself was also thrilled with the news.
I am delighted to have signed for Ulster and Ireland for another 3 years. Its exciting times with both teams and I hope to be part of them
