Sonny Bill Williams might be making a change that could see him at next year’s Olympics

This could be very interesting.

Rugby sevens will be in next summer’s Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and some guys from the 15-man code are particularly keen to take part. Reports in New Zealand say that superstar centre Sonny Bill Williams and marauding centre Liam Messam might both leave rugby union and focus solely on sevens next season.

The prospect of SBW playing in the Olympics next season is pretty exciting and it would be great if some other big name players tried to force their way into the country’s sevens set-up.

Williams’ offloading ability would surely guarantee the AB’s a gold medal.
