The Rugby World Cup final may still be eight months away but that hasn’t stopped one opportunistic punter from testing the market for his tickets to the Twickenham decider.
Ticket resale outlet Stubhub has 111 tickets available for purchase for the final in London on October 31, but with even the cheapest tickets commanding around €1,700, if you want the best seats you’ll have to be prepared to take out that second mortgage, with one pair of category A tickets (face value £715/€960), currently available at the bargain price of £59,000. That’s roughly €80,000. Each.
