Roll up, roll up! The Rugby World Cup trophy is in Ireland this week

The build-up continues

SportsJOE

As the start of the World Cup draws ever nearer, the William Webb Ellis Trophy is doing the rounds of participating nations.

The cup is in Ireland this week, and if you want to catch a glimpse of the golden prize you’d best get down to Belfast, Galway or Limerick.

The trophy is in Derry today, before appearing at Belfast’s City Hall on Thursday and Ulster’s Kingspan Stadium on Friday.

Then it’s off to Galway on Saturday before taking in the Father’s Day Festival in Thomond Park in Limerick on Sunday.

Dubliners, tough luck.
