PODCAST: Mike Ross, Donncha O’Callaghan and new Munster signing Chris Farrell join The Hard Yards

Joe Harrington

Some big calls in our new rugby podcast, The Hard Yards.

Leinster prop Mike Ross joins Ireland rugby legend Donncha O’Callaghan, SportsJOE rugby reporter Pat McCarry and host Andy McGeady on the podcast this week.

After a salivating chat about brisket, the guys discuss Ireland’s Six Nations game with France on Saturday which includes the selection headaches for Joe Schmidt, an in-depth chat about being the tight-head prop position and how we can beat the French.

O’Callaghan is adamant that Ireland should stick with Paddy Jackson and Rob Kearney for next Saturday’s visit of Les Bleus. He commented:

“You have to look at the overall squad and you have to look at what Paddy has done over the last two games… for the squad and how camp runs, I think it is important that he stays there and I think Paddy should stay there.”

We also have an interview Grenoble’s Irishman Chris Farrell who will join Munster next season and we wrap up all the Guinness PRO12 action.

The Hard Yards is brought to you by Ladbrokes.
