Remember Davy McGregor’s horrific ear injury yesterday?
Well, there’s good news for the former Irish under 20 hooker after he got it sewn up, and while it’s still looking pretty sore, it looks to be fully attached, which can only be a positive.
McGregor sufferd the freak injury playing for his side Heriot’s against the Barbarians in an exhibition game on Tuesday night, and spent yesterday with a plastic surgeon getting it fixed.
The hooker tweeted out an updated picture of the ear this morning, and while it’s looking much, much better, we hope to God he’s not serious about trying to play this weekend.

While this author would have been in blind panic after almost losing an ear, Davy’s twitter feed yesterday showed just how relaxed he was bout the whole process, making puns about the injury and joking about how he may invest in some headgear.
Just off the table. Surgery went well. Thanks for all the messages. Think they said I can go home but not sure if I heard them right 🙈
