Pessimistic New Zealander has placed an insane amount of money on All Blacks failing at World Cup

Confident and unconfident at the same time

Watching the World Cup with this negative Nancy will be a barrel of laughs.

An anonymous punter in Auckland has placed $130,000 (€75,150) on the All Blacks NOT winning the World Cup this Autumn.

New Zealand are 11/8 favourites to win the 2015 World Cup in England but the cynical bettor doesn’t hold out much hope of his country retaining their world championship.

Wales v New Zealand - International Match

The flutter is the largest bet that the Totalisator Agency Board (TAB) has ever received on a rugby game with $100,000 (€58,000) the previous highest.

The punter received odds of 11/20 on the bet so he stands to make $71,500 (€41,300) if New Zealand fail to live up to their billing.

He’ll be a popular man in the pub if the All Blacks reach the final and he’s shouting for the other side.
