Ridiculous.
Ireland’s 22-9 loss to Wales at the Principality Stadium was a bitter pill to swallow for Irish fans.
That defeat has left Ireland staring down the barrel of another year without silverware.
What has frustrated Irish fans most is that we know this is a damn good rugby team. We have seen them put in some incredible and heroic performances in the past.
So when Ireland were as poor in their execution of their gameplan last night, it ultimately led to some considerable anger and there was no shortage of targets to vent this rage.
Rory Best copped some flak for his lineout throwing.
Paddy Jackson was ridiculed for shooting out of the line too early which ultimately led to Wales’ first try.
The unnecessary intervention from Robbie Henshaw in the second half led to some considerable ire as Ireland already looked set to score a try through Best at the back of the maul.
However, it wasn’t just the events which transpired during the 80 minutes of action which irked the wrath of the viewers at home.
Simon Zebo received some serious flak for congratulating George North after the game.
Yep…congratulating your opponent on a job well done.
And people lost their bloody minds.
Hard to watch Zebo laughing and joking with Welsh players after a championship ending defeat like that #WALvIRE

What were people expecting Zebo to do?
Drop the shoulder on North or tell him to f*** off as he approached him?
The two players just went through hell in an incredible game of rugby.
Yes, of course the Irish players are devastatingly disappointed with the loss but does that mean you can’t say well done to your opponent?
Some people need to get a grip.
