Highfield RFC looked set to forfeit their J2 league encounter with Mitchelstown, last night, when the referee pulled up with an injury.
Leading comfortably at the time, Highfield were lucky qualified junior referee James Cronin was on the sidelines. The Munster prop grabbed a whistle and saved the day.
