Munster player takes advantage of cold snap by building worst snowman of all time

Nice try BJ

Stick him in at fullback and see what he can do

Munster prop BJ Botha has been enjoying the cold snap that is currently sweeping the country. The South African international took time out from preparing for his team’s Champions Cup clash with Saracens to construct a pretty sad looking snowman.

As rugby snow players go, we don’t think it would last too long in the front row furnace or hold up well under rucking pressure. Best to put the chap in the back three and hope he doesn’t catch cold out on the wing. It can get frosty out there, especially when the Munster forwards are hogging the ball.

Meanwhile Munster captain Peter O’Mahony has been chatting ahead of the weekend’s European action.

The back row admits there’s been an edge in training for the last few days as Anthony Foley’s side look for a crucial win
I’d say a lot of fellas react differently. I’d say we’d probably be a little bit more difficult to live with. Crankier is a way to put it, but it’s a good sign I suppose. Pressure’s a good thing, especially putting it on yourself. It’s important. A fear factor, and all these things, come into play. It’s a cup final game for us. We lose and we’re out. You can compare it to any of the knockouts. It’s international level. It’s win or bust.’
