Lovely touch from Stade Francais pays respect to victims of Charlie Hebdo attack beautifully

Minute's silence

Conan Doherty

We are all Charlie.

That’s how Stade Francais paid their respects to the Charlie Hebdo staff and all the victims of the Paris shooting this week when they stood for a powerful minute’s silence before their game tonight.

The French club face off with Castres in the capital and players and fans alike united to produce a powerful remembrance for all those who have suffered in the tragedy of the last few days.

The Stade Francais players donned t-shirts imprinted ‘Nous sommes tous Charlie’ – we are all Charlie – and the crowd, the Castres players and the message on the big screen were united together in an emotional moment.
