Patrick McCarry

Book the weekend of March 29-31 off. You’ll be busy.

Leinster taking on Ulster in Dublin, just two weeks after the Guinness Six Nations wraps up.

Munster’s travelling hordes swarming all over Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium with a place in the last four at stake.

Yes, please.

Another weekend of European club rugby and another clean sweep for the Irish provinces.

Leinster followed the Saturday lead of Munster and Ulster, and Connacht in the Challenge Cup, by finishing their pool stage with a victory, en route to the quarter-finals.

This is the first time in history, since the competition began in 1995/96, that all four provinces have reached the knock-out stages in Europe.

It was already confirmed, on Saturday, that Connacht would travel to Sale Sharks for their last eight match in the Challenge Cup. Leinster and Toulouse wrapped up routine wins, on Sunday afternoon, to give some clarity to the quarter-final picture.
