Jack O'Toole

Ulster Rugby winger Jacob Stockdale crossed for his fifth and sxith try of the Heineken Champions Cup against Racing on Saturday.

Stockdale has been exceptional for the northern province and has scored six tries in seven games this season as he continues to show that he’s one of the best finishers in world rugby.

Ulster took an early lead through winger Robert Baloucoune who crossed after just seven minutes before Stockdale extended the hosts lead after 14 minutes.

Racing did hit back through Virimi Vakatawa and then Ireland international Simon Zebo with Ulster taking a slender 16-10 lead into half-time.

Stockdale then bagged his second try of the game after the restart with a sublime chip and chase to score.

Ulster trailed Racing by five points in Pool 4 heading into Saturday’s match and the 26-22 win see Dan McFarland’s side go level with last year’s finalists with just one game to play.
