This story keeps getting stranger and stranger.
Ronan O’Gara’s Racing 92 are facing the Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun in Round 4 of the Champions Cup.
On Friday afternoon, news broke that Racing 92Â and South African fly-half, Johan Goosen, is to retire from rugby at the tender age of 24.
It’s safe to say that the news came as a bit of a shock and the statement which Racing 92 released clearly contained tones of resentment towards the player.

O’Gara himself was asked before the game to explain what his reaction was when he heard the news and he told BT Sport that he found out through social media.
“I am too to be honest (surprised at the announcement). I found out on Twitter looking at it earlier, you know? And I’m on the management team!”Â
O’Gara then went on to describe how the news has shocked everyone in the club and that it hasn’t been ideal preparation for their encounter against Glasgow.
Already people are beginning to read between the lines on the news with many people commentating that Goosen may be using his ‘retirement’ to engineer a move elsewhere.
Reading between lines @racing92 fear Johan Goosen hasn't played final game. Enmity exists between Lorenzetti and @MHR_officiel boss Altrad

I think we can work on the basis Johan Goosen will not be retired for long. Source of dispute is player's new long-term deal with @racing92
