Joe Schmidt will have been forgiven for shifting uncomfortably in his seat watching France dominate England in Paris last night
Philippe Saint-Andre’s men outplayed their Six Nations rivals for the vast majority of their World Cup warm-up fixture, leading 25-6 before a brace of late scores for the visitors put a more appealing gloss on the final 25-20 scoreline.

Of course, for many it was hard to distinguish whether they were watching French brilliance or an English horror show.
Smashed by the team who haven't been able to string two passes together for the last 3 years, not looking so good for the red rose #FRAvENG

Nonetheless, with two wins in a row against the English, France appear to be gathering some serious momentum ahead of the World Cup, where their clash against Ireland looks likely to decide the outcome of Pool D, and Saint-Andre has already named his 31-man squad for the tournament.
