Connacht will have to spend at least another night in Siberia.
The Irish side recorded a 31-14 victory over Enisei-STM in sub-zero temperatures in Siberia earlier today.
The temperatures dropped as low as -20c, but Connacht managed to overcome the difficult conditions to secure a opening pool win in the Challenge Cup.
The lads on the bench probably had it worse than those on the field though. You’d imagine Connacht would want to get home to the Irish rain as soon as possible, but, due to a technical fault with the plane that was due to carry them home, they’ll be forced to stay in Krasnoyarsk another night.
Due to technical fault with plane, we won't be flying home tonight and will stay in Krasnoyarsk at least another night. #RoadToRussia
