God damn autocorrect…
The right honourable folk at the BBC have had to say sorry for giving a Wales player a new rather risqué surname.
Scarlets lock Jake Ball was rather unfortunately titled ‘Jake Ballsack’ by  the BBC sport team on their website ahead of their clash with Australia on Saturday.
The error probably would have gone unnoticed but teammate Jamie Roberts was quick to point it out to the Beeb
Haha spot the error @BBCSport @BBCWalesSport …I'll give you a clue – he plays second row for us!! 😂 pic.twitter.com/qSQSztDqcz

A BBC spokesperson has apologised for any offence caused and said that the corporation are ‘investigating how this error occurred’
We say blame auto-correct, it’s always auto-correct (although why you would have ‘ballsack’ in your auto-correct is beyond us).
We imagine that the faces at BBC Sport were as scarlet as the Wales jersey after noticing their error.
We double dare any player to say it to the 19 stone  6’6 lock next time they cross him on the pitch, though.
Hat-tip to the Guardian.
