Looks grand to us.
The Wallabies have unveiled their new home jersey for the upcoming World Cup and… it’s okay.

It is a plain enough offering, low on flash. The only real accent is on the right-hand shoulder, where the stars from the Australian national flag are incorporated.
The new jersey is supposed to be the lightest one ever designed for the national team and is a far stretch from the hefty numbers worn by Michael Lynagh and David Campese in the 1990s.
Still, Aussie fans are not best pleased with the latest offering.
Over on the Green and Gold Rugby website, which is very popular Down Under, here is a selection of some of the best/worst comments.
- “That’s a shocker! Looks like something you’d get for free if you buy two cartons of XXXX and then send away your bar codes.”
- “I thought the 2014/15 jersey was brilliant with it colors and designs. but i have to admit that this world cup jersey an absolute shitstorm. it looks like a ODI cricket jersey and a women 7’s jersey had babies and then them babies inbred for generations.”
As for Twitter…
@RugbyReg @Wallabies I'm really crossing my fingers in hope that that is the new 7s jersey. If it's the 15s, someone needs to lose their job
