Much ado about Quade…
Ireland go into their Test match with Australia this early evening with the same match-day 23 named by Joe Schmidt on Thursday. Australia named 26 players on Thursday, cut it down to 23 later that evening and got confused by the whole process today.
Wallabies star Quade Cooper was left out of the team listings, causing a flurry of re-typed words and amended match previews. Had the virtuoso picked up a late injury or fallen afoul of new coach Michael Cheika?
The Wallabies got the Bic biro out, scratched winger Rob Horne off their team-sheet and Cooper is back at the dance. Here is how it un-sensationally unfolded.
