Do not tell Conor McGregor that he’s going to die!
Everyone is a little bit emotional after a weigh-in, having drained their body of all excess fluid, and McGregor wasn’t in the mood to entertain the Brazilian fans who taunted him as he left the stage.
“The Notorious” had just weighed in bang on 145 lbs for his featherweight title unification bout but supporters of opponent Jose Aldo unloaded with a chorus of “uh vai morrer” as McGregor made his way backstage.
The chant is famous among Brazilian fight fans and translates to “you’re going to die” which is something that McGregor didn’t appreciate.
The Irishman gave as good as he got and threw up the middle finger to Aldo fans before he left the arena.
