If the name Jonas Bilharinho doesn’t initially ring a bell then maybe you’ll remember the Rio native better from the much-publicised time he spent with Jose Aldo last summer.
Aldo brought Bilharinho in to his UFC 189 fight camp to replicate Conor McGregor ahead of their featherweight title fight which eventually took place at UFC 194.
Bilharinho was brought in to mimic the unique movement and flashy kicks of ‘The Notorious’ as Aldo aimed to defend his 145 lb title against the Irishman last July.

Bilharinho was also present when Aldo got injured, resulting in the UFC 189 headliner being switched to an interim title fight between McGregor and Chad Mendes, and we hadn’t heard much from Biharinho ever since.
That is until Saturday night when the previously undefeated striking specialist suffered the first loss of his professional career in devastating circumstances.
Valdines Silva tore through Bilharinho to claim the vacant Jungle Fight featherweight title on Saturday, forcing the TKO of his 25-year-old opponent in the second round.
