Rowdy is a San Diego Chargers fan. One has been more successful than the other.
Ronda Rousey’s star continues its rapid, uninterrupted ascent ahead of her latest title defence at UFC 193.
The women’s bantamweight champion will look to add Holly Holm to her ever-lengthening list of victims when the fight takes place in Melbourne, Australia next month.
As part of her promotional push, Rousey appeared on NFL on Sunday, on FOX.
She explained that Holm is merely another step along the way to an unbeaten legacy of UFC domination. Holm comes from a boxing background and Rousey says she will need to strike first before she earns the right to take her contest to the mat.
Rousey was asked for her NFL memories and told an amusing tale [not to her father, we’re sure] about the 1994 SuperBowl.
“Dad was sitting in the living room, watching the game. I was asking ‘What’s the score Dad, how are they doing?’
“He turned around and said ‘The big donut!'”
