Fans at the Resurrection Fighting Alliance 31 event witnessed one hell of a welterweight title fight between Gilbert Smith and Bristol Marunde.
For a long time it looked like Smith was going to lose his belt, with the challenger consistently out-striking him for most of the fight. Then Smith produced a holy haymaker from hell that landed square of Marunde’s jaw forcing him to verbally submit and concede the TKO loss. It was clear from his reaction that Marunde had broken his jaw from the powerful shot.
