Mickey Gall is holding onto a handy lottery ticket right now. It is up to him to make sure the right numbers come out.
Dana White confirmed what most fight fans have known since last week – CM Punk is on a collision course with Mickey Gall.
Punk, real name Phil Brooks, has not fought in the UFC since he signed with the promotion in 2014. He is now set to debut later this year and Gall, who White discovered on Looking for a Fight, is the frontrunner.
White told Off The Record, “I’m bringing Mickey Gall in, and he’s going to fight a kid named Michael Jackson.
“They’re going to fight on the [UFC 196] prelims, on February 6 on Fight Pass, and if he wins that fight, Mickey Gall will fight CM Punk. And CM Punk will be there at the fight to watch.”
White later cleared up, via Twitter, that Jackson would not get to fight Punk if he defeats Gall.
